  • 220 g (1 cup) Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 134 g (¾ cup) Granulated Sugar
  • 100 g (2 Eggs) Eggs, large, room temperature
  • 7 g (1½ tsp) Vanilla Extract
  • 344 g (2¾ cups) All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 g (1 tsp) Cornstarch
  • 5 g (1 tsp) Baking Powder
  • 5 g (1 tsp) Baking Soda
  • 5 g (¾ tsp) Table Salt
  • 283 g (1¾ cups) Chocolate Chips, semisweet

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

    In a small saucepan over low heat (or in a microwave-safe bowl), melt the Butter until just melted. Remove from heat and let cool until warm, not hot.

    In a large bowl, whisk together the melted Butter, Brown Sugar (packed), and Granulated Sugar until smooth and well combined.

    Add the Eggs and Vanilla Extract to the sugar–butter mixture and stir until the dough is uniform.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Flour, Cornstarch, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Table Salt.

    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until no streaks of flour remain.
