Ingredients

  • 240 g (2 counts) Broccoli, frozen packages (if using fresh, cook a little longer before mixing)
  • 480 g (2 counts) Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 232 g (1 count) Cream of Cheddar Soup, 10–11 oz can
  • 474 g (2 cups) Water
  • 14 g (⅛ stick OR 1 tbsp) Butter, melted
  • 60 g (½ cup) Bread Crumbs, from self-rising crackers, crushed

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cream of cheddar soup and water. Stir until vegetables are evenly coated.
  3. 3Add melted butter and grated cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  4. 4Transfer the mixture to a single baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.
  5. 5Just before baking, sprinkle the crushed self-rising cracker crumbs evenly over the top.
  6. 6Bake, uncovered, for 20–30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
  7. 7Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
